The Great Jude-ini
I'm considering auditioning Jude for Cirque de Soleil due to his obsession with squeezing in to impossible places.
Note: And for my 'special, in the know' friends- see also, once a carney, always a carney :)

Jude's laugh is just so awesome.

Toddlerhood is....
Climbing on top of kitchen chairs
Helping yourself to the rest of the bag of dried berries
Until the bag is completely emptied on top of the table
And eventually climbing on top of the table
And acting like momma is the one doing something weird

Who Ya Gonna Call? Ghost Jude
Jude has also learned to walk around the house as a ghost. He uses these Aiden and Anais blankets all the time which are super thin- and awesome for hot natured babies like Jude. Anyway, I'm guessing they are thin enough to see clearly through because he walks around the house like this with no problem. He likes to follow me around and listen to me say, "Where's Jude". He laughs as I call for him and act like I can't figure out where in the world he has happened to. It's a fun little game right now.
From the dungeon he emergeth
Oh look who learned a cool trick the other night- Sir Jude. In his valiant efforts to dodge me as I approacheth with pajamas, Jude realized he could in fact crawl underneath his bed. There has been no end to the excitement of this realization since that fateful evening.
And how cute is he as he emergeth from his hidden dungeon I ask you? Too cute is the correct response.

Bluebonnets and my little Texan
Can i just say that when you have a baby in Texas, you get about a million pamphlets that literally say 'congratulations on your little Texan'? Because this is the only state in the world that thinks its people are more than mere people, they are Texans, and that means something.
Anyway, I have bluebonnets in my front yard. And I took Jude's pics by them while they still looked pretty. Unfortunately with Easter being so late, all my flowers will be gone by the time it comes....

Counting
Jude did the coolest thing the other day in the tub. I was (as usual) trying to get him to sit down in the tub, and started counting (also as usual). As soon as I said, 'onnnnneeee', he said ttwwooooo in the same tone and dragging style I do when counting. It was beyond awesome.
I tried this several times while he was in there to make sure it was not a fluke. And he did it over and over. Of course did he do it when I called people to have him do it. Of course not. He just stared at the phone and me like I had two heads.
But it was really exciting to realize he knows that two comes after one.
